Favorite Damon Salvatore Moment EVER:
Shirtlessness? Check. Sexual tension? Check. Snark? Check.
Ugh. Who cares has become my standard response to annoyances in my life. It’s very liberating!

I think Ian would be happy to know he is assisting you in dealing with the annoyances in life with his epic quote! You’ll have to find a way to repay him somehow (which won’t be a problem 😉

I also love the way Damon says “Better, ME” when Elena calls out for Stefan in the scene. Ian Somerhalder’s snarky line readings are about 88% of the Damon character, with the remaining % the writers’ witty rejoinders.
This was the first episode where my TVD watching friend was stunned into near speechlessness (I’ve been rewatching eps with her). We watch and snark and love the show together, and after Gorgeous Irresistible Wrecked Damon came on screen she was reduced to the vowel sounds of drooling fangirlspeak 🙂

I’m not sure if it’s later in this scene, or another ep where Elena shows up and Damon snarks “Is that OUR girlfriend?” and Stefan doesn’t bat an eye!

How could forget this SCENE?! Drunk and Shirtless Damon rocks! With the shirt buttoning, and the personal space invasion, and the protective concern / adoration disguised, as snarky good humor. In the words of Damon, it’s “Irresistilibllle.” 🙂
Thanks for the warm fuzzy memories . . . Amy. *retrieves panties from floor* 🙂
